15 September: What’s the fuss with E-waste?

The Singapore Youth for Climate Action have organised an event on e-waste, where they will discuss the issue but also launch an e-waste guide. More details below!

As we move towards a fast-paced digitalised world, we are bound to use more gizmos and gadgets. Currently, each person in Singapore generates up to 11kg of electronic waste per year!

How can people in the lion city best manage the electronic waste it generates? What are the ways to maximise the benefit of e-waste management while reducing negative environmental impact?

On behalf of the Singapore Youth for Climate Action (SYCA) team, our team would like to extend our invitation to be a part of an upcoming event called “What’s the Fuss with E-waste”. SYCA has long been an advocate of responsible waste management and to further our commitment we have created a guide for the disposal of e-waste in Singapore.

We are excited to launch our E-waste guide at the event! We also have industry experts talk about the challenges and opportunities related to the management of e-waste and how they approach it.

Join us as we converse with industry experts and publish a guide about e-waste management in Singapore!
