Green Drinks Singapore turns 6 today!

Today, we turn 6 years of age, and we would like to thank each and everyone of you who has been a part of Green Drinks. Without your support and involvement, we would not have made it to this day.

We would like to thank all audience members, online followers, speakers, and especially our sponsors, who have helped us keep this event mostly free.

As Co-founder of Green Drinks, I would also like to thank the team for running the monthly sessions for the past year, and doing an excellent job.

There are certainly greater things to come, and we will soon make an exciting announcement for us, and for 2014.

Do join us at our last two sessions for 2013, we have a session tonight with Caliberlink, where the focus is green jobs, and one next Thursday with Beyond Business As Usual, where we look at how firms are practically tackling the strategic issues of sustainability and then recalibrating their models. More details on these events on our main page.

We hope to see you soon!

  • About Green Drinks Singapore

Founded in November 2007, Green Drinks Singapore is one of more than 800 cities with a Green Drinks presence.

  • We are a non-profit environmental movement that connects academia, green businesses, activists, community and government, for knowledge sharing and collaboration opportunities. We do this by organising informal talks every last Thursday of the month, over drinks! Once in a while, we hold discussions, documentary screenings and workshops to further engage the public and participants.
  • Started in 1989 in London, the Green Drinks movement is a self-organising network that is meant to be simple and unstructured. The global site can be found at
