The Singapore Environment Council (SEC) launches new volunteer matching scheme

The Singapore Environment Council (SEC) has rebranded its volunteer programme, and it’s now known as Earth Helpers.

In addition, they have launched a self-service portal that allows volunteers to sign-up for activities online. This platform is for both corporations and individuals, and allows them to choose from an variety of projects with different communities and industry groups.  For those with a limited amount of time, short stints are available.

Do visit their website and create an account with them.

With increasing environmental awareness among corporations and individuals, SEC has received more requests for volunteering opportunities. Each organisation or individual would have specific interests and requirements when selecting environmental volunteering opportunities.

With this in mind, a new volunteer matching scheme known as Earth Helpers has been launched by the SEC. SEC will form partnerships with various entities to provide a list of volunteering activities that will cater to different needs.

Both corporations and individuals will be able to choose from a selection of projects with different community and industry groups. Short stints will be available for those who have limited time to commit to a project.

The Earth Helpers programme will also include a component for recognising and rewarding outstanding contributions by volunteers or volunteer groups.

Please contact SEC at 63376062 for more information or visit to sign up straightaway.
