6 August: Urban Farm Tour organised by Vegetarian Society (Singapore)

Vegetarian Society (Singapore) has organised an urban farm tour. Do check it out!

VSS’ First Ever Urban Farm Tour!

Join us on a learning journey this August – We’ll be enjoying a refreshing vegan breakfast of organic mulberry leaf tea, brown rice milk with sweet corn, and sweet potato pudding; a choice of Mandarin or English guided urban organic farm and herbal garden tour and a potting session. Learn how to get your hands in “good dirt” to pot your very own herb! Packed with more than just fun, this tour will teach you to convert your garbage into your very own chemical-free cleaner. Don’t forget to buy some organic produce on sale at the end of your trip! You wouldn’t want to miss that!

We’ll end our morning activities with a scrumptious organic vegan set lunch of brown rice briani with masala chickpea curry, green salad with cashew dressing, pumpkin soup and freshly baked wholemeal bread hot from the oven. Drooling already? Sign up now!

  • About Green Drinks Singapore

Founded in November 2007, Green Drinks Singapore is one of more than 800 cities with a Green Drinks presence.

  • We are a non-profit environmental movement that connects academia, green businesses, activists, community and government, for knowledge sharing and collaboration opportunities. We do this by organising informal talks every last Thursday of the month, over drinks! Once in a while, we hold discussions, documentary screenings and workshops to further engage the public and participants.
  • Started in 1989 in London, the Green Drinks movement is a self-organising network that is meant to be simple and unstructured. The global site can be found at www.greendrinks.org.
