Singapore Compact: Corporate Social Responsibility Summit 2011

Singapore Compact is organizing the Corporate Social Responsibility Summit 2011 with the theme Corporate Social Responsibility: Values for Sustainability.

Date: 5 & 6 September 2011

Venue: Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel

This 2 day summit brings together business leaders, government personnel, CSR experts, academics and civil and union society leaders with the aim of discussing how sustainability is the next megatrend. Stakeholder’s concerns and issues in sustainability will be discussed such as:

  • Strategic stakeholder engagement
  • reporting, communication and transparency
  • climate change
  • financial incentives and shareholder value
  • success strategies and business cases
  • media in CSR
  • and many other issues

    Founded in November 2007, Green Drinks Singapore is one of more than 800 cities with a Green Drinks presence.

  • We are a non-profit environmental movement that connects academia, green businesses, activists, community and government, for knowledge sharing and collaboration opportunities. We do this by organising informal talks every last Thursday of the month, over drinks! Once in a while, we hold discussions, documentary screenings and workshops to further engage the public and participants.
