The Animal Concerns Research & Education Society (ACRES) will be celebrating their 10th birthday with a Gala Dinner, details of which are stated below.

Date: Friday, 20 May 2011

Time: 6:30pm

$300 for a VIP seat, $2,600 for a VIP table of ten

ACRES has one birthday wish this year: to construct an on-site wildlife veterinary clinic for Midori, Spongebob and all the other rescued animals at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre. This will help ACRES provide even better care for the rescued wildlife animals as well as an improved veterinary internship experience for the students that ACRES work with.

To be a part of this celebration and contribute to the funds needed to build the veterinary clinic, reserve your seats at the ACRES website or email leanora@acres.org.sg for more information.

  • About Green Drinks Singapore

Founded in November 2007, Green Drinks Singapore is one of more than 800 cities with a Green Drinks presence.

  • We are a non-profit environmental movement that connects academia, green businesses, activists, community and government, for knowledge sharing and collaboration opportunities. We do this by organising informal talks every last Thursday of the month, over drinks! Once in a while, we hold discussions, documentary screenings and workshops to further engage the public and participants.
  • Started in 1989 in London, the Green Drinks movement is a self-organising network that is meant to be simple and unstructured. The global site can be found at www.greendrinks.org.
