Panasonic continues to up ante on eco practices

Panasonic Asia Pacific announced today that it has achieved its 2009 ‘eco ideas’ declaration targets and has set new targets as it moves towards its 2018 vision.

This is how the new declarations measure up against the ones in the last fiscal year (click to enlarge):

Managing Director of Panasonic Asia Pacific Mr Ikuo Miyamoto said, “Building on this success and to stay true to our commitment of environmental management, we are now setting a broader and concrete action plan for the next three years from fiscal 2010.”

Congratulations to Panasonic for their continued committiment to sustainable practices and we wish them success to reaching their new goals.

In addition, Panasonic has organised an ad design competition here, where the top three most liked designs stand to win a 50″ Panasonic television and have their ad published in the October issue of KrisWorld magazine. Do give it a go!
