Zeco Scooters has much to shout about after receiving news that their electric scooters have been approved for road-worthiness.

In addition, The Straits Times reported here that both Ikea branches have made available parking lots for electric scooters, complete with facilities to charge their vehicles for free. Republic Polytechnic and Insead will soon be offering similar facilities.

The electic scooters are priced around $7000, and run at a top speed of 50km/h. So for now these scooters will not be allowed on expressways but authorities have stated that this will be reviewed after a year.

$7000 is a good amount but, it’s great to ride it.
