About Green Drinks
Founded in November 2007, Green Drinks Singapore is a non-profit environmental group that seeks to connect the community, businesses, activists, media, academia and government, for knowledge sharing and collaboration opportunities. We do this by organising informal talks every last Thursday of the month to allow opportunities for information sharing and networking, over drinks! Once in a while, we hold discussions, documentary screenings and workshops to further engage the public and participants, and we recently started our first campaign – SaferSkin, a campaign for safer skincare and cosmetics
Singapore is one of more than 590 cities with a Green Drinks presence. Started in 1989 in London, the Green Drinks movement is a self-organising network that is meant to be simple and unstructured. The global site can be found at www.greendrinks.org.
Do come join us at our sessions, which is held on the last Thursday of every month (except Christmas). Everyone is welcome, and admission is free! We’d love to meet you!
Be sure to join our Facebook group, and follow our tweets on Twitter!

Hi Olivia!
I hope this email finds you well!
My name is Lionel and I’m from Apostrophe Films. We’re a leading local production and media company. We specialise in producing TV Commercials, Corporate Videos and TV/Broadcast programmes and we’re currently developing on a factual entertainment series titled “Eco Gone Mad!”
Broadly initiated by our Media Development Authority (MDA), “Eco Gone Mad!” is a multi-platform TV and web format programme that injects a healthy dose of fun, inquisitiveness and skepticism into what it is like to be GREEN (or environmentally conscious).
We’re currently casting for Green/Eco host and am wondering if would be keen to come down to meet/audition?
Please feel free to give me a buzz on should you need more information. Thanks very much for your attention Olivia!
Regards
Lionel
Hi Olivia,
I would like to exclusively invite you as part of the media for a seminar organised by Carrier Corp on Energy Savings in Hotels at Furama Hotel Singapore on the 27th October 2011.
To briefly put, Carrier Corp will be giving a full day seminar on how hotels can save cost and energy with the right air conditioning systems and how government agencies are helping hotel operators do so.
The hotel at which the seminar will be held at, Furama Hotel, is the only hotel in Singapore to use Carrier 23 XRV chillers that have not only gained Furama Hotel a BCA Platinum Award, but is also the only chiller in Singapore to receive 4 ticks for energy savings.
Do reply me should you be interested in attending this event so I may send you a full invite with more details of the programme. Attendance for the entire programme is not compulsory.
I hope to hear from you soon!
Best Regards,
