With the Singapore General Election looming, we’re putting together an election special for you in April.

Should the environment be put on the election agenda? What environmental issues would you want your MPs to push for? We want to hear your views.

    I say governments should mandate Environmental Impact Assessments for all slated development projects especially HDB and large-scale residentials (condos) etc and make the reports public before going ahead with the project! There’s no accountability with the current system!

    Founded in November 2007, Green Drinks Singapore is one of more than 800 cities with a Green Drinks presence.

  • We are a non-profit environmental movement that connects academia, green businesses, activists, community and government, for knowledge sharing and collaboration opportunities. We do this by organising informal talks every last Thursday of the month, over drinks! Once in a while, we hold discussions, documentary screenings and workshops to further engage the public and participants.
